Outdoor Junction Box with Cable Gland for Project Enclosure
This set includes a junction box and 20 pieces of IP68 cable connectors in 5 different sizes. The waterproof junction box is made of ABS plastic and has an IP66 waterproof rating, ensuring solid construction and a good seal to protect against sun exposure, dust, corrosion, and splashing water, making it very suitable for outdoor use. The outer box size is 125x86x62mm (4 7/8" 3 1/4" 2 1/4"), and the inner box size (approximate) is 117x 76x 38mm(4 5/8"3"1 1/2"), with a grey color and a surface-mounted design.
The DIY opening hole design greatly ensures the sealing of the waterproof project box, allowing up to 9 holes to be distributed on the 4 sides and bottom of the waterproof box. With 5 different sizes of cable glands, users can make holes according to their needs, accommodating cable ranges from PG7 (0.12 - 0.25 inches) to PG16 (0.33 - 0.55inches), with thread outer diameters ranging from 0.49 inches (PG7) to 0.88 inches (PG16) and thread lengths from 0.35 inches to 0.39 inches.
The waterproof electronic box has a cover with 4 screws to fix it, and a rubber sealing stripe at the interface between the cover and the waterproof box, which can make the waterproof box more sealed to ensure safe use in bad weather. The IP68 waterproof cable glands come with gaskets for the bulkhead mounting, providing a waterproof seal against the inside of the surface being installed.
